Hmm..
Once upon a time I used to stick horseradish on my sandwiches.
Then I ended up being super sensitive to spicy foods, right after I had mono, and had to give up the horseradish.
But, I sometimes do odd stuff like meatloaf sandwiches.
I make a 'sauce' of mayo and mustard to spread across the meatloaf slab.
Roughly 1 part mustard to 10 parts mayo.
My roast beef sandwiches are pretty much the same, mustard mayo sauce on provolone cheese and roast beef, but the bread is whatever is close to hand.

The best leftovers I've ever had were after visiting a college friend's family in Tennessee. Her mother packed us food for the trip back to school. She made turkey sandwiches on english muffins spread with butter and mayo. Before I ate it I didn't know if I could get it down, the thought of butter and mayo didn't seem too tasty. Then I tried it and loooved it. I spent the rest of the time trying to figure out how to talk the other girls out of theirs! LOL

Nothing odd about meatloaf sandwiches. I just skip the mustard and go straight to the mayo, add some swiss cheese and lettuce. Ahhhh ...perfect!
