LOL. Well, I am going to go out on a limb here with other cat owners with my opinion. I think cats just need to wander outside. Yes, I know they are totally safe indoors, but so what. I have had the most interesting conversations with cat owners on threads, in which they say they let their young children play outside unsupervised, but never let their cats see the light of day. If your cat seems to have some sort of nervous problem, have you ever considered letting him roam outside?

NO! The speed limit around here is 35, yet people
drive at 50 or faster. We had a cat get hit.
Personally, I wouldn't let my children run around
unsupervised either. I don't even have any yet.
There are stories upon stories of kids getting
snatched & noone sees a thing. I would do what I
have to to ensure my kids weren't just another story.
I'm that protective of my cat as well.
