The "Mercury Content of Fish" business is complete crap.
A dozen years ago there was a mercury in tuna flap. The Smithsonian opened some cans bought for an expedition in the 19th century and found mercury levels just as high.
It is not polution but a natural tendency of fish to concentrate mercury.
It has been in them for millions of years and we have been eating them for millions of years.
