Yes, tomorrow is another day. I am worried of my brother. He is a redneck hillbilly (by his own admission) in western Kentucky. He is 50 years old. One night last week he got out of bed to go to the bathroom and found he could not move his right arm and both his legs. An ambulance had to be called to transport him to the town's small hospital. They immediately transported him to a larger hospital in Owensboro. He was diagnosed with a spinal inflammation (transverse myelitis). The docs still don't know the cause. It could be three things...residual effects of a flu, Lyme's disease or MS.

On the second episode tonight Hildy actually did good! I was shocked.

I'm sorry about your brother - what a scary thing to wake up to -- the paralysis.
To: ValerieUSA
Yes, it is, I would think. He has always been so healthy. He has forty acres to take care of, running a few cattle and a mushroom farm.
He is a die hard liberal union man, having taken early retirement from a tobacco company in Louisville that he had worked for since he was eighteen years old.
I know he is in good spirits because he told me today that he was reading a Christmas present book....Al Franken's "Rush is a Big Fat Idiot". LOL
To: Conservababe
I am wearing my big old T-shirt that says rush is right.
To: ValerieUSA
Of course Rush is right. You know he is right when family keeps goading you about him. LOL
To: ValerieUSA
Val, I have to tell you this since you evidently listen to Rush on a regular basis.
I was in Esicar's Meat Shop yesterday. They smoke hams and such and ship all over the world. But, I get to buy their wonderful bacon and country ham slices just by driving a few blocks.
Anyway, the owners are childhood friends of Rush. They have old pictures all over their storefront. So, do you remember the day Rush was telling of his childhood antics of calling old folks to name a bible verse for a prize and dangling a maniquin over a bridge? I ask the owner if he had heard Rush that day and he laughed. He said that he was involved in most of the pranks, himself. He said that they escaped the law, but not Millie. She knew and punished them all. LOL
