Your "Beware of Doors" is so true!! It reminds me of 'burning your bridges'.
Sometimes after you've locked a door or burned a bridge, it is almost impossible to go back and admit a wrong.
Thank you for bringing another lovely, thought provoking poem to us.

A blonde was speeding in a 35 mile per hour zone when a local police cruiser pulled her over and walked up to the car. The police officer also happened to be a blonde and she asked for the blonde's driver's license.
The driver searched frantically in her purse for a while and finally said to the blonde policewoman "What does a driver's license look like?" Irritated, the blonde cop said "You dummy, it's got your picture on it!"
The blonde driver frantically searched her purse again and found a small rectangular mirror down at the bottom. She held it up to her face and said, Aha! This must be my driver's license" and handed it to the blonde policewoman.
The blonde cop looked in the mirror, handed it back to the driver and said, "You're free to go. And, if I had known you were a police officer too, we could have avoided all this hassle.

"Cob ..., Now how can you possibly not enjoy that purty poem?" Well, I gotta admit, Amy, I got all warm and fuzzy when I read it.
I know BG is writin' cards for Hallmark, and ya gotta be special to git one of hers personal like.
I don't know why, but she loves them Texas rattlesnakes!
I caught a little six footer last night, and I'm gonna take it to her when she comes down.
She'll be so doggone happy!!

That is sooo cute. The caption is perfect!
What happened to all his other pets? Tell TC not to be introducing that child to rattlesnakes, even toy ones!!

Those captions are something else, aren't they? His Nana's the one who puts them up there.
She's smart.
And could PROBABLY write really good poetry, too. Uh huh.

If you get her to write some, ask for permission to post it on Poetry and Potpourri. She'll be in great company!

"The caption is perfect!" There are presently 476 pictures on Logan's Web page.
Nana captioned every one of them!
I don't even try to compete with her captions! I do the easy part.

Hi LJ. That Heart Poetry is so true. Great post for today.
For ALL --
Sunday's Sasso Update:
Sasso continues to improve. Though he still can't see, he's getting around well in his 'safe zone' I created for him in my computer room. He found his litter box and understands what to do in it. He purred Thursday for the first time since his surgery. In the last few days he has begun to groom himself and to curl up in a ball like a normal cat when he sleeps. I am very optimistic! Just hope his sight returns. :(
His vet thinks she may be able to operate on his wound next week to stretch some of the skin to make the open part smaller. Then, later on he'll need skin grafts to cover what doesn't regrow on its own. Still no infection!
The whole staff at his animal hospital makes such a fuss over him each time I take him in. He's a special little boy.
