The following was posted this afternoon on the eom_and_daleel Yahoo group. I post it for the same reason as the author states - not to scare, just to inform everyone about the chatter going on. We report... you decide:

For those of you who know me, I apologize for the brief explanation
of who I am, for those that do not, here ya go.

My alias is Fullwave, I'm a dedicated member at Itshappening.com,
I'm a member of the II(Internet Intelligences), for those of you
emailing me, asking about which branch of the GOVT, I reside in, I
cannot safely say and I apologize for my anonymity.

As for my job description, I research Al-Qaeda websites, Postings,
Jihad Propaganda, and I specialize in Steganography(De-crypting,
Encrypted Images).

Lately again, there has been a rise in terror chatter, since the
lowering of the threat level to "yellow". Please note, that this
does not adequately indicate the actual threat assessment of our
homeland, but is infact a way to save money.

Recently, Al-Qaeda Intelligences, not just Jihad and Islamic
Extremists, are posting about an impending, imminent Nuclear Attack
on an American city. Many who usually post, have declared just
recently, that they were leaving the boards to complete their
mission and will be back to celebrate with the rest. They are
asking that Muslims and the like, prepare for a huge celebration in
the streets, as a American City is destroyed.

I wanted to say, be safe, have extras of everything. If you haven't
already prepared an emergency family plan, or gathered emergency
items, such as batteries, radios, water and the like, do so
immediately.

I am not meaning to scare anyone, I just want to make sure everyone
is safe. With that, I'll leave you with a recent posting from a

Yikes.....Couple all this with statements from people like Shay? regarding flying and the quote on Northeast Intelligence Network from Jim Sinclair of the Gold Market Summary it makes me sit up a little more straight. I tend to lean more toward a land or sea based threat.

I hang out on eom_and_daleel as well. I am a newbie to this terrorist tracking game, some of the people there have been tracking EOM and others since before 9/11.

While these web posting jihadis may be jokers and hoaxes over all, some of the Arabic postings that have been translated are really creepy and I tell you, IMHO there has never been a time more likely to see a nuclear detonation on US soil than now.

While many of the posters may be hoaxers, I think the threat is very real. I am prepared to eat crow if this all turns out to be psy ops. But I am keeping potassium iodide handy 24/7 this month.

Part of the AQ translation fits in with the supposed letter to DC with their demands or else threat. Anyone remember that? Also appears to threaten SA and those leaders in the ME who support us as was mentioned many times in BL diatribe (last audio tape).

All very interesting but again, this all sounds just too pat. Several problems immediately occur to me:

1. Why broadcast that your operation is about to take place? This risks both the individual operatives and the entire operation itself. No professional military or intelligence organization would permit this kind of laxness unless.... it was being done deliberately as a disinformation or propaganda campaign.
2. What makes them so sure that they can slip away from any collateral damage? By definition WMD's cause widespread destruction, there's no guarantee that they'd be able to get away in time; and the description sounds like they don't intend to die in the process.
3. I suspect that after any WMD attack the country would be so locked down that it'd be virtually impossible to get in or out, or possibly even do much travel within the country. How do they think they'd be able to get to anyplace where they'd be able to "celebrate" afterwards?
4. Why should it take that many people to execute a WMD attack? The operatives involved should ideally already be near the targets, otherwise there's too much uncertainty in whether they could get to where they want to set off the attack within the target time frame. Most of these things just shouldn't take that many extra hands, just a few well trained ones. It's not like it's an infantry invasion.

There are other issues that occur to me, but these are the ones that are really obvious (don't want to give away some of the less obvious problems I see).

I suspect this is all disinformation of some sort - one side or the other sowing confusion with their opponents so that they aren't ready for the real blow. The question is, what is it......? Possibly something to happen before or after the supposed target date? Of a different nature? An attempt to draw out some of the terrorists to catch them? Or just sowing fear and doubt in the minds of whoever sees the postings?
