Note that no-one here (or anywhere else) disputed the fact it was IN that paper..instead, many blasted Debka. But NO-ONE in the USG, FR, or any major news agency argued the fact that the article [saying al-Qaeda threatens to destroy NYC within 35 days, apparently in some form of nuclear blast] WAS published on the front page of what is apparently Italy's main paper. OK, I'll dispute, or at least ask questions:
What is the evidence that this is a newspaper of major significance? I would think that Rome's biggest paper would be the main one. Is this even the main newspaper of Milan?
I can't find the article, or even a site for the paper, anywhere on the web. I'd like to see the original. Can anyone else help here?
Supposedly, the Milan paper Il Giornale is one of the largest papers, it has a conservative bentm, and it is owned by President Berlusconi and his family. Last week, I went looking for the site of the newspaper, but it is of course in Italian and I do not know the language and I also do not have the time to try to translate while I search! The link is:
