They would have lost all of their credibility. They have threatened Armageddon. If nothing goes down in the next few weeks, they are done.

AGREED! The blather is WAAAY too hyperbolic to pizzle out with nothing but threats.

I think AQ is taking a HUGE PR risk here. If they don't do anything HUGH (and I mean HUGH!), they will be seen as a paper tiger.

THAT - more than anything else - is what frightens me.
