Disagreement(in words)is the breath of life the saying goes.

I would never say, "don't play it safe".

Parents watch out for their children, and we as citizens watch out for our country.

Natural disaster happen, and hopefully people are aware, and can cope till help arrives. That is a taught reaction, it does not come easy to Americans. Americans love life, they love their work, and play. New reactions are hard to learn, and it is good to post places on the net to get that information.

I also think our intelligence community (USA) did their job, and did it well. Gave up their play for work, their holidays' for their citizens(their children). Just like the Military in all its' facets. I thank them. Sincerely.

I'm extremely annoyed with this statement. Since I don't want to take this thread off topic, I am going to ignore it.

I think it is SAFE to assume you don't live in the tristate area. Coping came very easy for us.

You type with an accent. What is your first language?

LOL. I don't know which "Americans" YOU know, but lemme tell ya about mine. There is NOTHING, they can't and won't do, to survive and WIN. Caps for emphasis, not yelling. It's obvious you and I do not travel in the same circles, not that I ever thought we did. :)

In WW2, most troops were green, young, certainly never been shot at. The Country was at peace. We rose to the occasion, fought back, saved ourselves and alot of other folks too. I'm using just this example, because until 9/11, it's the only other time an enemy attacked us directly. EVERYBODY I personally know, is still so dad gummed angry about those last AQ attacks, until there is no real way to tell just how bad our reaction will be, if we are hit again.

I think you watch too much tv, showing namby-pamby crybabies, featured by the media during natural disasters. Look behind them, sometime, and notice the water trucks, the chainsaw operators, the guys patrolling and protecting, etc., the builders, the life makers and the life takers. You might be amazed to find the American spirit alive, well and resourceful.

I will agree with you on this one thing. Americans do love life, love our work, love to play. We also love our Country, mostly, and love each other, mostly.

Thought maybe you needed to hear these things. :)
