re your post no. 5568...ANY CHANGE IN ALERT STATUS WOULD BE ANNOUNCED BECAUSE IT COSTS $$$ AND MANPOWER HOURS TO IMPLEMENT and there are procedures and guidelines set in place.
I guess what I'm wondering is if the procedures include shutting down general communications in sectors/regions or overall...along with pulling out all the other stops that would be expected under code red.
