And last night was a little eerie....there was a flight ban from sometime New Years Eve to after the Rose Bowl game had finished. It is amazing how quiet it is without all those planes and helicopters flying all around. I left a party around 1am, walked outside, and the only thing I could hear was the faint roar of 2 F-16s doing a track between Chino and Manhattan Beach.

Ah, fond memories of Manhattan Beach -g- my misspent youth in 1970 and seeing a small plane crash, talk about sobering up ;)
