U.S. stopped illegal nuke shipment to Libya - January 1, 2004 - BY BARRY SCHWEID - WASHINGTON -- Nearly three months after the successful operation, the Bush administration confirmed on Wednesday interception of an illegal shipment of thousands of parts of uranium-enrichment equipment bound for Libya. - The seizure in early October sealed Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi's decision to dismantle his nuclear weapons program, a U.S. official said on condition of anonymity.

Except for the lying Michael Jackson interview, I have been noticing since we went to orange that CBS has been the only worthy news on our standard networks. So for those without cable news, tune into CBS.
