the abandoned vehicle had not been tampered with, but no damage or devices were found. I would be interested to know what, if anything, was missing.
Many things commonly carried in an ambulance can be used to make a kill or bomb.

A little over a year ago there was a warning issued about terrorists using ambulances but we never heard anything else about it.

More likely they took uniforms, hats, equipment, radios, credentials . . . stuff needed to make the "crew" of another already prepared fake ambulance more credible in appearance . . .
