Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks that You continue to stir the people worldwide to an alertness of danger. We thank You, Gracious Father, that the passage of time increases our ability to detect and decipher and act that catastrophes might be averted. Bless the efforts of all those who are charged with the defense of our homeland, and our interests abroad. May they not be lax in any area of their mission, but ever vigilant. Reveal any plan of attack, wherever it might be, that it would prevent the shedding of innocent blood. Surround those who would do harm ... let them not escape the net of capture, for they continually seek to destroy.
O God, strengthen each nation who desires safety for its citizens ... may they be bold and brave and successful. Strike down those who would undercut the very foundations of a free society ... they would have us enslaved ... You would have us free.
May our prayers before the Throne of Grace be pleasing unto You this day, Merciful Lord, in the Name of Jesus I pray, Amen ...
