Mad Cow, Chickens, Hepatitis from Mexican Food and also a big outbreak in a Pizza Parlor.

Keep in mind that cantaloupes are now on the danger list most of the time and lettuce and sprouts.

I am not in danger of the bad food, as I can't get fresh foods here, except for once or twice a year.

Above all plant a garden. Even if it is in dishpans in front of the window.

Do not buy bags of lettuce and cabbage, already cut up, they get recalled more than any other type of lettuce.

We rarely had food recalled, until 7 or so years ago and some days, it seems half the stories on recalls and the diseases are of the worst types.

That's because most of the produce that is infected comes from Mexico or South America. Or, some of the people working in the fast food reataurants don't know about hygiene.
