Ruth, what do you think? They said they could cause earthquakes and make volcanoes erupt. They made threats about that area in Russia. Earthquake there. Wyoming, close to Yellowstone, mild quake. I have said before that I think the quakes and volcanos can be made to happen.

For every report that you can do it, there is one that says you cannot.

For normal quakes, as I understand it, if there is a big quake in Japan or out to sea, for a period of time (days) the rest of the earth plates will adjust.

It is better to be prepared, able to take care of yourself and family. Lack of electric and water, will be the biggest disaster and for me, loss of electric, is loss of water, our only water comes from 1500' wells.

There will be no gas pumps working and many of the fancy door locks won't work, if they use electric, that is why so many folks were sleeping on the streets in the New York electric shortage.

If enough ash falls, that you need to leave the area, it will cover far more than the 200 to 300 miles you might get out of a tank of gas.
