Ok,

Having re-viewed that digital movie.

To make it...Trivial. They used windows movie maker, which is available with every copy of windows XP sold. I could show you how to make that movie in less than 10 minutes. You'd need a video capture device. There are many of them and some come with high end video cards. You could buy a Dazzle DVC(about $70) or pretty much any of the higher end ATI cards that have inputs.

A Dazzle DVC will allow you to hook up your VCR and play any movie you want...and they used Deep Impact and Independance Day liberally. Thereafter, adding a "Jihad" soundtrack is simply a matter of hitting your sound-in port. Mix it on your computer and output a WMV.

I could reproduce this entire video, complete with sound mixing in under 45 minutes. There were no "leaps" at all with this. The computing hardware isn't a big deal either. My work PC is a P4 1.8ghz and in fact, had I done this, it would have been clearer, heh.

A 14 year old could generate this WMV no problemo.
