OK..sorry..that may have been a bit "rantish".

Full disclosure here..I HAVE prepared for the "worst". I have lots of food (grain), water, first aid, etc. Backpack ready (soon) to high tail it if neccessary. Even bought one of those handy "Nuke Alerts" JUST in case it's needed.

This has given me pretty good piece of mind. If the bad guys do anything, we'll obliterate the ME. I can also hunker down here for a very long length of time and watch us show them who has the REAL power.

So, I try to not spaz out from the latest "EOM", "Daleel", etc posts. (And I do consider them total and complete BS, incidentally, for "real" terrorist would not converse with us in English, and I doubt they would even post to an open 'net BB..but that's another topic).

Preparation = Peace of Mind, IMHO. I've chosen lately to focus more on the prep, less on the worry.

Lastly - saw an interesting bill board on a church sign the other day that some may want to consider. It said:

"Worry is the thief of joy".

Thought that summed things up pretty well.

You know, this thread is as much an exercise as anything. I don't think anyone's panicking here. Maybe seeing the thread scroll thru latest gives everybody that impression, and I for one would like to have it NOT report on latest.
