NEIN, Sean update...

Although the public has been hearing lately that the risk of attack is lower today than the last few months of 2003, we do not find this assessment to be consistent with our latest findings. It is important for people to understand that at least 30 major metropolitan cities remain on "high alert" status, along with our nuclear power plants, refineries, and other various aspects of our infrastructure. Similar to the events that preceded 9/11, we are findings postings by Islamic clerics and other individuals warning about a "great event." Were their such signs prior to 9/11 posted on the Internet? Our research suggest there were indeed. Although the identities of individuals posting and publishing items on the Internet can be "spoofed," the timing of the posts cannot. While there is an unending debate about the true identity of an individual named "EOM," the fact that one and apparently several postings appeared under that name that "predicted" a "great event" to take place (against and inside the US) prior to 9/11 cannot be disputed. Despite hundreds of man-hours of investigation devoted to the true identity of the original "EOM" poster, we make no claims at this point about his/her identity, only that there is indeed evidence of foreknowledge to an attack on US soil. We are seeing much of the same type of communications today as there were in the days and weeks preceding September 11th, 2001 - not by one lone poster, but throughout the Islamic jihad forums.

I keep asking for evidence of these pre 09.11 warnings, predictions, whatever, but have yet to see conclusive proof that they exist, other than the chilling lyrics to some song that was posted on 09.10. If someone can point me to the evidence, then I'll back off my rant, but until then, I remain extremely skeptical.
