Juarez-El Paso is on the west side of the state and Houston is on the east. Doesn't make sense to cross the border there unless they have compadres helping them at theat point of entry. Possible Houston is not their target.

You wouldn't think so, would you. All the way across the State, just about, from El Paso. I would think more NM, or Ca., from El Paso, but the Dude said Houston. ?

Aren't there tunnels in the Juarez-El Paso area? Might be easier to cross over at J-EP than the Brownsville border - maybe J-EP has been tightened up with the discovery of those tunnels. They aren't secret; I think even ABC (ackkk..ackkk!) had a special on them.
