I am a product of the 60's Mom. And I experienced it as it really was, except for the college part. I went to LA a greaser riding with Hell's Angels for a day -g- to being nailed as a drag queen, wish I was as pretty as they were
-g- to hitchhiking on the 101, climbing to the Hollywood sign, drinking gosh knows what in Spinada punch and hunting for 77 sunset Strip.

Hanging out with the likes of Robert Culp (who gave me a puppy) in his hippy era to the likes of Telly Savalas(a total womanizer). I danced in Hair in two productions, one here at the Schubert in Chicago and the little theater in LA.

Then I moved on to Vegas and danced in a chorus for a few months to eat. LOL!

But the best thing of the 60's for me was being a young, conservative stumping for Nixon and protesting passionately. And I'm still doing it today. Personal History is a heck of a map isn't it? -smiles-

What a colorful background! Makes up for some of the rest of us who are painted in shades of drab gray. (I should have livened this up with some font colors but am too lazy).
