A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.
The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?
The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.
Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.
DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.
Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.
Yes, he ocassionally shows a bit of "Debka" flavor, but his depth of knownledge concerning happenings in the ME and FE is astounding.
Maybe EOM works for the good guys and is posting disinformation.
Try typing that into Google >:-]

Trial Begins for 3 Kenya Terror Suspects

NAIROBI, Kenya - Three men suspected in al-Qaida attacks on a tourist hotel and an Israeli airliner in Kenya went on trial Wednesday, with witnesses describing the attempt to shoot down the jet.
Five farmers who live near the airport in the port city of Mombasa separately said they saw a plane flying over them, trailed by two objects releasing heavy smoke early on Nov. 28, 2002. The two SA-7 missiles narrowly missed the Israeli passenger jet.
Defendants Said Saggar Ahmed, Salmin Mohammed Khamis and Kubwa Mohammed Seif are charged with conspiracy in four cases: the Nov. 28, 2002, bombing of Paradise Hotel north of Mombasa, which killed 15 people, including three Israeli tourists; the nearly simultaneous attempt to shoot down an Israeli airliner; an alleged plot to destroy the new U.S. Embassy in Nairobi in June; and the 1998 bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi, which killed 219 people, including 12 Americans.
All three have pleaded innocent, but at least one of the suspects, Khamis, reportedly admitted taking part in the plot to destroy the new embassy shortly after he was arrested in June.
A local administrator in Lamu, on Kenya's coast, linked Seif to an alleged militant on the FBI (news - web sites)'s list of most wanted terrorists, Fazul Abdullah Mohammed. He said Mohammed, using the name Abdul Karim, stayed in the area for four months and later married Seif's daughter.
The administrator, Haddadi Ali Nuri, said he had not seen the man since February 2003.
Mohammed is the alleged mastermind of the Nov. 28, 2002, attacks and has been indicted by a U.S. court for his role in the 1998 bombing of the U.S. Embassy.
Osama bin Laden's al-Qaida terror network claimed responsibility for the attacks in November 2002 as well as the August 1998 embassy bombings in Nairobi and in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Ahmed, Khamis and Seif were among nine originally charged with murder in the hotel bombing. Murder charges also were dropped against two other suspects.
Prosecutor Edwin Okello told The Associated Press he would call about 40 witnesses at the trial, which is scheduled to continue Thursday before adjourning for an undetermined period.
Seems he is more likely to be a mischievous, overweight, pimpled face, housebound agoraphobe yanking our chain than anyone actually associated with terrorists, or in the know.
Can anyone enlighten me?
Well I flew on two British Airways Boeing 747-400's (holds 400 passengers, huge plane) in my trip to London. Although I didn't do a full check of the bathroom for places to hide something, I can tell you that there is about enough room to fit a person and that's all. It is more likely that a device would have to be passed to each other once outside the bathroom. With all the talk about this, I was always vigilant as to who was going in and out of the bathrooms. During any hightened alert period I feel the airlines should check people/bags going into the bathrooms.
