I don't know anything about the Canadian cargo plane -- I must have missed that story.

But, when I was just trying to search for that, I found this:

John Loftus now on Batchelor Alexander WABC reports: A student of Nuclear Engineering at McMaster University Hamilton, Ontario. has disappeared along with 180 pounds of nuclear waste stolen from the university's nuclear reactor. This happened several months ago but an alert has been ordered tonight in the USA and Canada. His name is ? Adnan al-ShoukriJumai, 27 years old, a Saudi national. A search is underway. The fear is that they may hijack a cargo plane in Canada. I hope to provide further details later on this thread.

Back to the news, I heard on Fox this afternoon that UBL was almost spotted while traveling through the mountains recently by one of our planes according to one of his visitors. They had to hide under trees while the plane passed. Also, a Dr who treated him very recently said he is frail and not well. My thought about this is, if he is dying he would want to see his last plan carried out.

Tenet wanted to raise the terror level more than a week ago, Tom Ridge did not want to raise it until he had specific information because of the "sky is falling" cry wolf problem. He finally decided by Thursday that it had to be raised to orange and the President held off until today.

Just because an attack doesn't happen, doesn't mean the terrorists weren't planning one.
