Al Qaeda again threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles - Daily Terror Threat

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "UNITED NATIONS (CNN) -- Some members of al Qaeda most likely possess portable surface-to-air missiles and may use them to target military transport planes, a U.N. report says.

The threat was among several findings detailed in the report by the United Nations' al Qaeda and Taliban Sanctions Committee which also cited a shifting of the terror network's strategy, a move towards "softer" targets and a warning the group was working towards a biological or chemical attack.

In regards to the missile threat, al Qaeda may now move away from targeting commercial air transport because of heightened security at facilities, said Heraldo Munoz, the Chilean ambassador to the U.N. and head of the sanctions committee.

The terror network may try to target sea routes, "ports, sea ports" and may be "looking for targets of opportunity," Munoz said.

"The panel of experts that work with our committee have insinuated that the possession of the surface-to-air missiles, these portable shoulder missiles, is a very clear danger," Munoz added."

 While postings by radical Muslim Daleel Almojahid on his Yahoo Group get more and more incendiary, they are still readily available on line. That despite the fact of their existence having been reported to the American based Yahoo and a variety of law enforcement agencies
 
 For example. One of Almojahid's latest posts is titled "How to Run a Good Death Squad." (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Daleel_Al-Mojahid_/message/53). Its directions are pretty comprehensive and read in part (sic), "Set-up road block with high sand bags, so no one can see from road or roof of car. In most checks you always get driver from car to open trunk of car for you, but in this case your brother, ask's driver to stay seated. Place remote control bomb in trunk, wave driver on. Radio ahead asking all check points to let car go by their check points."
 
 The writer continues his instructions. He tells his readers to "Set off radio controlled bomb at market place making sure none of your brothers are near. Place our own dead around (unsuspecting) local driver blown up car, when we arrive at bomb blast. Report our brothers and several hundred civilians are killed by Zionist(s). Information will flow in. Report to press, "Zionist attacks civilians and several mujahideen brothers were killed (never let the political Zionist world know how to operate a death squad).
 
 Prior to the actual instructions, some of the narrative in the post reads in part "For a prison break out of captured Zionist- for controlling Zionist escapes, and making examples of them, and for good press reports, saying captured Zionist trying to escape get shot. Open gates ...  and open fire calling it a prison break out."
 
 Then attempting to stir up anger against Zionists, another portion of the post reads "Place Zionist weapons next to dead civilians in local areas for press to see. (Just shoot unarmed Zionist you captured (the) day before)"
 
 Another recent post from Mojahid (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Daleel_Al-Mojahid_/message/50) was titled "And the Losses Continue." It read in part, "Bush has met with Blair today in London to discuss their humiliating fail in Iraq after the mojahideen gave both governments some impressive lessons and slaps on the face of both leaders, and what's coming is even worse! We can really say now that this is the start of the fall of the once leader of the world the United States of America."
 
      Mojahid compared America's fight against Muslim terrorists with Russia's decision to invade Afghanistan. He wrote that Russians "thinking that it was going to be an easy journey to heaven, it turned out to be an easy journey to hell and the head of the Russian snake was cut withthe hands of the Afghani and Arab mojahideen."
 
 The same story is being repeated with America, he gloatingly continued. "To make it even worse and more humiliating for the crusaders God puts victory in the hands of his followers real followers which are the weakest people on earth specially after the head of the snake (America) gathered all its strength and partners to hunt down God's followers exactly like the story when the Jews were God's chosen weakest people and followers on earth and mosses helped them with the help of God out of Egypt and made them the top of the top."
 
      Mojahid contended that al Qaida has been blessed since America started fighting the group. "Just to make the snake happy and get some of its deadly wine (money and wealth), God started giving his hand to them and giving them (patience and wisdom) to be able to fight this huge snake that is corrupting the whole world with its corrupt human ideas and faith."
 
 Ultimately, Mojahid wrote, the gifts "God" gives the Moslems will make them stronger than anyone else. As a result they "will wipe out everything and every one standing in front of it to bring back what was once taken from Muslims and bring back the rightist and justice to the world one more time and make them rule the world once again in the name of god
and with the rule of God once and for all."

The death cars of the new bombings in turkey on the British consulate in Istanbul and the HSBC bank in Istanbul were defined targets that had been planed for some time and the killing of the British counselor and his staff was a target in our strike for he was one of the most anti Islamic planers in the region and was the main mind and thinker of the British policy making in the middle east and against our brothers and sisters in Iraq and Afghanistan. Pushing the Turkish Islamic country to send its Muslim sons to fight the American and British war in Afghanistan and trying to send them into Iraq that was stopped in the last moment due to Iraqi resistance to of the Turkish coming to the Iraqi lands. A lot of people asked why turkey and why now? Turkey was and will always be an Islamic country although the west is trying to get Turkey closer to them by giving them incentives like joining the EU but on the cost of what !?on the cost of leaving its Islamic identity and following the identity of the EU and the west. The timing of both Operations is clear I guess we promised you some slaps on bush's face and by Gods well he didn't just get slaps from the mojahideen he also got slaps from the protesters and brought down his tall and huge figure of the most strongest person in the world! We wish that the Turkish government will wake up and understand that turkey will always be an Islamic state and we hope it will take of its hands from Afghanistan and stop thinking about sending any troops to Iraq once and for all coz they will be the first thing that we promise to wipe out even before the Americans to teach any Islamic trader what it means to fight with the enemy and stop fighting for the west in the name of the west or in the name of bush of America and start fighting for the east in the name of God. Their trial on charges of aggravated first-degree murder begins Monday in Seattle.

King County Superior Court Judge Charles Mertel ruled this week that the defence may not introduce testimony from a criminal psychologist who would have testified that innocent people sometimes make false confessions.

His evidence would have helped the defence show that the two could have made false confessions to RCMP undercover agents who posed as mobsters in a sting operation.

The judge also barred the introduction of evidence showing that the FBI drew the attention of Bellevue police to an Islamic group known as Al Fuqra as possible suspects.

And the jury will not hear that an informant, a few days after the murders, said a Muslim cleric had ordered the killings. The informant said the cleric and Rafay had a falling out over how the Muslim Holy book the Koran should be translated."

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. government has issued an advisory warning of al Qaeda's "continued desire" to plot a terrorist attack on American interests abroad, but there has been no change in the U.S. terror threat level.

A senior intelligence official said a classified advisory was sent to law enforcement and security personnel late on Thursday regarding "al Qaeda's continued desire to plot or plan terrorist attacks with an emphasis on U.S. interests abroad."




But a Homeland Security spokesman said there was no change in the current colour-coded threat level, which remains at "yellow" or an elevated risk of attack.

"Based on assessment of current intelligence we have no plans to raise the threat level," department spokesman Brian Roehrkasse said."
