[history]
Monday, November 3, 2003
A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.
The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?
The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.
Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.
DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.
Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

I have seen articles where children said the World Trade Center would not be there in a few days just prior to 9-11. Children are always saying odd things like that ... most of it never happens. It was pretty well documented that a boy in Brooklyn made the prediction to his teacher and classmates.

I can't answer the question about those sites. However, the content you were asking about is from the posts of those terrorist/wannabe's/whatever's. They've posted that info.

It's become plain, to me, how you feel about those guys (security whatevers), and their opinions. I understand. However, the way I look at it is, it's one more voice. More input, and I like input, right now. I feel the more information I have, the better my chances of sorting through, to determine a trend.
So, I for one, don't want to discourage any information gathering.

I can't see anything else 'out there' about that 3rd death on the London flight, last week. Vic was 19yo, and was undergoing an autopsy. No word on results of same.

mindspy: Just like the rose law firm billing records, the drives just remarkably appeared! I remember this.
FairOpinion: The article you posted about this certainly seems more sinister in hindsight...some secrets concerning U.S. and Soviet nukes on the drives and all.

Hi Stolie. What is troubling to me, is the prevaling theme of blowing us to kingdom come, in the short term future. It's prevasive and reported in various legitimate news sources, most posted and linked in this thread. If it was from one or two sources, then, yeah, I'd never glance at it, much less consider it. However, it's a central theme that they haven't moved off of, yet.
Since OBL declared war on America, in l995 (I think), the attacks have become nastier. Another trend has been OBL'S determination to acquire nukes. The recent news coming out from the worldwide nuke watchers, is not good. In fact, it looks like it's become a buyers market for nukes and material. Altogether, very disturbing.

Yes, inclulding how to DISABLE them. Hopefully, those codes have been changed. ?
To: Try2Discern
Oh yeah, as far as Steve Quayle... Why does he still have Philly Stadium as a target, it was good for ratings the day of the NFC championship game, but I doubt anyone will be attacking an empty stadium at this point...
To: Letitring
Vic was 19yo, and was undergoing an autopsy. If the autopsy is done in the UK I wouldn't believe the results 100%. The husband of a friend of mine died (on a plane) in the UK. The autopsy said he died of bronchitis. He didn't even have a cough. It was probably an m.i. or a stroke.

I just wish he would answer Piper's latest questions. I have the same questions. If he was privy to real information, why is he posting it on all these message boards? Wouldn't he be in danger of losing a source? As far as answering Piper's questions, I am sure he would love too.. but of course it would be over our heads and impossible for us simpletons to understand. /sarcasm off
He (Sean) lost it some time ago, I only hit his site to get any raw data he may have and I have found Jill's homelandsecurityus.net to be a better source for that. If he had real information that the gov't was not willing to announce he would not be announcing it either, IF we did in fact have UBL and the gov't was keeping it quite there would be a reason, his spewing it all over the Internet would certainly be detrimental to whatever reason the gov't has for keeping it quiet.
To: Letitring
True. But, don't ya think that maybe they are performing "jihad by the pen"?
Me, I think the huge amount of threats coming out of multiple sources is a kinda of jihadi wet dream/group-think. Just like when you have a crowd or group of people, and a common thought starts to permeate the community. Happens in normal life (eg: "Bush is an idiot", "It was a huge right-wing conspiracy", etc). Point being..repeat something often enough, and even those who don't hold the same point of view to start with begin to repeat it ad-naseum.
On the flip side, perhaps there is something to it. But I really don't think so. And, you have to consider - most of the "warnings" are coming out of 'net message boards. Me..I just don't take that as a "credible" source.
Now, if one of the "official" AQ types were to come out and say something like "we will destroy an American city on Tuesday. Stay tuned to your media", I would believe it.
But..ya gotta admit..99% of the "threats" we are seeing are coming from Websites and message boards.
Could just as easily be: Groupthink, jihadi "wet dreams", "jihad by the keyboard" or (my guess) a small # of people getting their (twisted) kicks.
All in all, I would bet that we will all be here and just fine on Feb 5. Matter of fact, let's all plan parties to celebrate the fact that we will be.

There is a big difference between opinion and fact. NEIN has a way of passing along opinion disguised as a fact. (i.e. OBL has been bagged and tagged; the Saudi Royal is about to be attacked in a coup attempt in the next 24 hours.) NEIN also has a nasty habit of diseminating information as a fact, when in fact it is nothing more than conjecture, speculation, and fiction. I do, however, enjoy reading the NEIN webpage and the stuff that Sean posts here, much the way I like to read Ton Clancy and Robert Ludlum novels. But when a newbie to this thread wants to know how much weight he should give to NEIN, I do think we have a duty to give an honest opinion.
To: jstolzen
Stolie, jihad by the pen. :) I like it. :)
I think we are getting both real messages and some not so real. I do think they are communicating with one another. Why, I don't know, but feel it can't be to our good. The Homeland Security people, have determined and stated these jihadist use the internet to plan, implement, connect, and coordinate attacks. Now, it remains to be seen if the dominate two, talked about here, are for real or not. Hopefully, not. At the very least, it's been interesting to watch a certain mind set unfold, and certain desires talked about.
Just my take on things, off the top of my head. :)

Yes, but I don't think the Klintoons or cronies got their hands on them because the employees took them to a safe location thinking the fire was a set-up and someone wanted those discs. I could be wrong but that was the speculation. Remember the fire started because some federal employee gave orders to do brush burning despite there being wind or wind in the immediate forecast. It was all very suspicious.
To: Labyrinthos
I understand. I don't have an opinion about them, yet. I just want to read what they have to say. Whether or not I agree with it, is a different matter.
To: Unknowing
Interesting. The free power thing mentioned at one of links I posted earlier sounded pretty neat too.
To: FairOpinion
It seems it would have to be nukes- possibly launched from the sea. I can't think of any other weapon that our leaders in the bunkers could watch, via satellite.
To: ladyjane
Oh dear. That doesn't sound encouraging. I really want to know what happened to her. Seems an odd thing there is no further information on the 3 deaths.

"How long has EOM being saying last message and how many times?"
Actually this is the first time that I remember. Although he has implied that we should sleep well because it will be our last night to sleep. I have had many night to sleep since then although I have not been getting much sleep.
