A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.
The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?
The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.
Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.
DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.
Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

Here's a description of the vehicle:
The guard told police the gunman was a man of Middle Eastern descent with bushy hair and a mustache. The man was driving a white pickup with tinted windows and a black stripe.

Police on the Texas Gulf Coast were searching Saturday

FREEPORT, Texas (CNN) -- Police on the Texas Gulf Coast were searching Saturday for a man who shot and wounded a security guard at a chemical plant Friday
night.
The guard was shot in the shoulder by a man he came across while conducting a routine patrol of the factory. The guard, whose name was not released, is in stable
condition after surgery at a local hospital, Freeport Police Chief Henrietta Gonzalez said.
The guard approached a man in a pickup truck parked in a suspicious area, she said. The man rolled down his window and told the guard he was taking pictures of the
lights around Freeport's port area and the BASF plant, Gonzalez said.
When the guard reached to open his microphone to report to his dispatcher, the driver of the truck pulled a gun and fired, hitting him in the right shoulder, she said.
The shooter sped away, and the guard drove himself to the factory gate where he knew armed, off-duty Brazoria County Sheriff's officers, employed by the company,
were posted. The 911 call was made at around 9 p.m. local time, she said.
The guard said the male shooter had dark hair, a dark mustache and had not recently shaved. He spoke in accented English, the guard told authorities.
The FBI is monitoring the situation but said the Freeport police is the lead agency, FBI agent Bob Dogium said. "Right now there's no indication that it was terrorism,"
he said.
Gonzalez said the suspect was driving a white, half-ton, dual-cab Chevrolet pickup truck with dark-tinted windows and no front license plate, which is required in
Texas. The security guard said he could not see if there was a rear plate because the tailgate was down, she said.
Police have found the slug, which went through the guard's shoulder, and are testing it. Gonzalez said officers believe it came from a 9 mm or .380 handgun.
The Ludwigshafen, Germany-based BASF is one of the world's largest chemical manufacturers. The Freeport complex includes 16 plants, including an ammonia plant
next to the deepwater cargo port. The facility produces adhesives, super absorbers, paints, nylons and plastics.
Freeport is on the Gulf of Mexico about 60 miles southeast of Houston.

Those of us who have had long periods of electricity loss know that without electricity our wells will pump no water. Point well made.
To: jerseygirl
My goodness, it produces alot more than ammonia. I sincerely hope they beef up that plant security. Sounds like they might need to.
To: Letitring
Burns the eyes. Very painful. I caught a little wift being careless when I was filling up a blueprint machine, years ago.
They have more than just ammonia there. Isn't a facility where they make chlorine too?

It makes me think of that horrific accident years ago in Bhopal, India. I forget what chemical was released there, but the results were devastating.
To: LayoutGuru2
I can't get there. WOn't let me in. What are they saying? Has he posted that video yet? SOunds like it's just going to be more bragging about what they did a few weeks ago in Saudi?
Yes, he is saying bloody night in Iraq. What time is it over there? Let me go find out. BRB.
To: Letitring
I can't get in their, either. Never had trouble before.
To: bvw
Could be. I just hope they button that place up. It seems it's a target, of some sort.
To: LayoutGuru2
It is 3:34 AM in Iraq, right now.
To: jerseygirl
What's up? Don't understand it. I've never been able to go to Yahoo, but could go to that place.
To: Letitring
Finally got in- guess they are just pretty busy tonight. I keep wondering about that Fox report regarding chem/bio capable missiles slipped into Iraq. Hope we have located them!
