Al Qaeda again threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles - Daily Terror Threat

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

OPINION: I agree it had to be just a rumor because in my opinion, UBL is deader than old dirt. His spirit of hate lives on. When you hear a UBL message it usually indicates an attack somewhere in the world is forthcoming.

HOWEVER, I believe that Saad bin Laden and Al-Zawahiri (sp) are alive.

Can you pass on any of the thoughts of the LDS Church?

I have let my lists to the LDS groups go no mail, in order to read all the news here.

I have found the LDS groups to be the best prepared, guns, gas, and food.

I don't know how to safely store gas and won't attempt it, as I am not leaving my place, but I do worry about the folks who are going to attempt to escape on an empty tank.

To those of you packing the 72 hour, Bug out bags, don't put in food that needs to be cooked, you won't be in a location that has room for all those camp stoves.

Instead, make it cans and right NOW get 6 can openers, (non-electric) to put in each persons bag and the cars.

Canned fruits are good, as you can drink the juice.

Put in some cooking herbs, as green beans with a touch of rosemary, taste better, than plain green beans.

As you know, I think Lavender Essential Oil, is the most important item for the bags, but you will want some type of aspirin and Peroxide.

Large needles and dental floss for heavy repairs, the only use for small needles, might be to sew skin back togather.

If it were me and my group, I would be after revenge and go on a full out attack, with everything that I had working.

If we have OBL, then we have the "LEADER", remember the other day, I thought that he looked like a God in his white outfit.

I don't believe that UBL, if alive, is backing off even one little bit. He thinks that he's on a mission from Allah, waging a holy war against the godless crusaders.

Chemical attacks in London or NYC would make the most sense if the enemy could unleash such horror in the subway tubes on inside a tall building. While feasome, such attacks would not destroy a city, break our resolve, or even slow the onslaught of our justice.

KARACHI: Members of the intelligence agencies raided a flat in a residential project in Gulistan-e-Jauhar and arrested Walid bin Azmi, a member of Osama bin Laden’s Al Qaeda network late on Wednesday night.

Sources said members of an intelligence agency raided a flat in one of the Dolmen housing projects in Block 15 of Gulistan-e-Jauhar and arrested bin Azmi, who is believed to be one of the four suspects involved in the bombing of US navy ship USS Cole on October 12, 2000. The sources said a mobile phone and Pakistani currency were recovered from bin Azmi.

Meanwhile, intelligence agencies arrested another important Al Qaeda operative, Ibad Al Yaquti Al Sheikh Al Sufiyan, at Rabia City apartments in Gulistan-e-Jauhar late Thursday night. He was arrested following a lead given by Waleed Bin Azmi, who was arrested in Gulistan-e-Jauhar late Wednesday night. Two satellite phones, one mobile phone, one laptop computer and two passports were recovered from Al Yaquti’s possession. No details were available about the passports. Al Yaquti is a resident of Dammam, Saudi Arabia."

Well, look at it this way: if we got him, that's good news. If we didn't and AQ is freaking out over the rumor, then we have good chatter to track. Kinda win-win.

Conversely, I fear his confirmed capture will start up poison-pill AQ attacks.
