Al Qaeda again threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles - Daily Terror Threat

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

Wow. That's pretty chilling. I don't doubt Jeannie's assertion. I guess I look at the totality of evidence and the fact that anyone could pose as this EOM and prattle on and on. I don't doubt the authenticity or the gravity of those posts prior to 9/11. I'm just worried that in order to set up the next sucker punch, we (the public) needs to be "suckered in" some other direction...

The same thing that happened when nothing happened by the end of Ramabomb: Someone will claim that the big attack was foiled or come up with conclusive "evidence" of another attack by the next significant Islamic holiday, based upon the cryptic posts of the next EOM.

Very creepy... I see it was posted on 9/10 though. The current EOM certainly has not posted anything close to this. We now have been watching him for nearly a month and it is always tomorrow. That said, I feel there is a very real threat between now and the Islamic New Year. I have been watching this play out since last February and have some bad feelings about things to come. I do not completely dismiss the possibility that EOM is real, but I question it very much, moreso now than I did pre-Christmas.

Points have been made about his "accent" and I have to agree completely. I have spent a good deal of time around my Arabic teacher (who has been in the US for 4 years) and have met some others recently from the ME in my school, and none of them come across in a similar way (they are either fluent or much, much more choppy).

EOM seems to be trying too hard to convince people of his origin and his plans, whereas that post "pre 9/11" seems to summarize the next day's events pretty well.

However....before this FR thread, before the NEIN site, before the yahoo watch groups, that CN&V board was a cute little chat group unknown to all the "Al Queda hunters". Jeannie has said that EOM arrived on that board out of the blue, making these threats. Then 9/11. After 9/11, Jeannie continues posting with her forum pals and after all these years EOM comes back and says "Hi! Remember me?"

I can't get past this either, since so much time has passed and out of the blue...he's baaack!!

I guess the frightening & unfortunate part is we may not know until something happens.
