I love the spots. No Gran, these aren't net lights. They are lights encased in a flexible cable. They wrap around and around the tree trunk. The lights in the fronds are fiber optic and stream down in a fountain like manner. Sooooo awesome. Some use the cable lights for the fronds too, and just let them follow the frond form, and cascade. It's beautiful. Lights on the trunks are red and I've seen red and green for the tops. They say it's easy to do, using those tube lights. The tube lights come rolled in a big package and you just knock yourself out wrapping trees. :)I think I could even do it.:)

Ringy, the shops near Sandestin use a lot of those around Christmas. They are spectacular.

Oh... I know what you mean.. Yes.. I have them around our pool for eating outside.. and I also have a string of them on the top of my kitchen cabinets to light the ceiling.. Those are great.. and what good buys on them at Costco and Sam's, etc. I have more that I haven't used yet.. I will try and get more of those this year.

The other lights you mentioned.. are they called Curtain lights? They use them a lot to drape around the pool screens.. They look great..
