Well, if you think the girls need a party animal teacher, check out the movie, School of Rock with Jack Black --- I just saw the late show, and it was a RIOT! Really a lot of fun.

Lisa is in N Carolina for a visit now.
I think you and Mike need to see the movie first - then decide. It is super funny, and even though there are kids in it, some may find it unsuitable for their own. I will let my 13 yr old see it, but he is a jaded 13 yr old already.

it is fun to see in a theater - everyone was laughing out loud and clapping - and the end is funny in a theater.

In Chile we move to daylight savings time about the same time the USA goes back to standard time...we go from being 3-hrs ahead of the west coast to 5-hrs...it's too confusing for me.

Good morning Don Loddy,

I'm cooling my heels waiting for a darn truck so I can head out before the rains start. We're just entering the rainy season...rains over 4-feet in about 5-months. Texas would wash away with that much rain.

Cheers from Peru

Thanks for the Peruvian update. A little cool front has moved through CenTex leaving us with an overcast, wintery kind of day.

Perfect for staying inside and loading up on coffee.

THEY SAY THIS HALLOWEEN STORY IS TRUE, BUT I DOUBT IT!

A man was walking home one night when he heard "Bump! Bump! Bump!"
He looked back and saw an upright casket banging down the street.
Terrified, the man ran toward his home, the casket pursuing him.
He opened his door and locked it behind him. The casket crashed through
the door, with its lid clapping. The man rushed to the bathroom and
locked the door. He heard the casket coming. Bump! Bump! Bump! It
crashed through the door! Desperate, the man hurled a bottle of cough
syrup against the casket. It worked! The coffin stopped!
