Britons would rather see Count Binface win the Clacton by-election in a blow to Reform UK leader Nigel Farage, a new poll has revealed.
The coastal constituency, which will elect their new MP on August 13, is still likely to return Mr Farage to the House of Commons.
However, a survey of 1,000 British adults conducted by Ipsos found 33 per cent of voters would rather see Count Binface win.
Meanwhile, just 21 per cent hope to see Mr Farage emerge victorious, with 32 per cent not backing either candidate and a further 13 per cent unsure.
Ipsos also found widespread support – 69 per cent – for Count Binface's commitment to restore the price of 99 flakes to 99p.
Voters remain divided on whether the main parties should have stood against Mr Farage, with 32 per cent supporting the boycott and 31 per cent wanting mainstream challengers.
However, almost three-in-four Britons believe the standards investigation into Mr Farage should continue if he emerges victorious next month.

It would be more honest if Bin Face renamed himself the LibLabConGreenIslamist candidate for this by-election.
Everyone who votes for him will be an amalgamation of all the corrupt legacy parties.
This is why none of the corrupt parties are putting up a candidate they all know they would lose in a straight election.
