Here Is How The Next Civil War Will Start
Making the Argument Podcast (Youtube) ^ | Nick Freitas

Most people think a civil war starts with a gunshot. It doesn't. It starts the moment half the country concludes the rules of the game have been permanently rigged against them — and that there is no legitimate way to change that. We may be closer to that moment than most people realize. And I can show you exactly how we get there — step by step.

Video Transcript Summary

The video "Here Is How The Next Civil War Will Start" (published April 21, 2026) argues that a future U.S. constitutional crisis or "civil war" (in a non-traditional sense) wouldn't begin with violence but with the perception that the political system has been permanently rigged.

Core ThesisThe speaker claims this tipping point could occur if Democrats, upon regaining full power (presidency + both chambers of Congress) around 2029, follow aggressive "Day One" proposals from political strategist James Carville (discussed on his Politics War Room podcast with Al Hunt). These moves would aim to create structural, durable Democratic advantages, leading conservative states to conclude that normal electoral remedies are impossible. Key Proposed Actions (per Carville in the video)Why This Could Lead to Crisis (Speaker's View)Escalation Scenario Outlined
  1. Eliminate the Senate filibuster.
  2. Add new states and stack the Court.
  3. Push major policy shifts (potentially on guns, religion, civil rights).
  4. Conservative/red-leaning states resist via non-cooperation, nullification-style tactics, or treating a "stacked" Court as illegitimate.
  5. Polarization deepens along urban/rural lines rather than just state borders, creating "Two Americas" dynamics.
The speaker warns this wouldn't lead to permanent one-party rule but to accelerated resistance, further division, and potential open conflict—especially if Second Amendment issues become a flashpoint. It ends with a Virginia-specific call to action against a partisan gerrymander referendum. Overall tone: Alarmist commentary framing Carville's ideas as a dangerous path to constitutional breakdown, drawing on history, legal doctrines, and electoral geography. It's presented as a warning rather than a prediction of literal battlefield war. The video is from a channel/creator focused on political analysis (speaker referred to as "Nick" in summaries).

The “next” civil war already started and only one side is fighting it.

Not until our freedoms completely disrupt and tanks the relative comfort of the air conditioning, couch, reefer full of food, and something to watch.

It has come to the realization for rats that we are not willing to defend to the death (ours or their's) for our way of existance.

Once the population is generally and mostly fed and comfortable, they can be used for money milking with the power of the govt to erase them in small groups should they show spunk.

It’s just a little unfortunate that Nick Frietas has a name that is very similar to Nick Fuentes. There are only three letters different. I have been confused by this several times. Sorry! I would recommend he modify the spelling and pronunciation to make it more different. Maybe Nicky Frietas or sticking a middle initial or middle name, only not if that middle name is Wayne.

“….especially if Second Amendment issues become a flashpoint.“

If!? No if about it. That’s a flashpoint.

This was the outlook if Hillary won in 2016 or what’s her name won in2024
. If the republicans win in November and again in 2028– then this possibility gets dimmer. The Democrats are at their best when they totally lie about every part of their agenda.

That democrats are telling the truth about who they are and what they want means they are demoralized and cofused and exhausted.its hard to win elections with that spirit

“The American Revolution began long before the war commenced.

The Revolution was in the minds and hearts of the people.

This radical change in the principles, opinions, sentiments,
and affections of the people was the real American Revolution.”

My least favorite combination of two letters is -ic, as in democrat ic party. I don’t think they are democratic at all. They are democrats of the democrat party. If they were democratic they wouldn’t cheat in elections. Cheating in elections is not democratic.

Thanks for that. The Grok summary covers it.

He mentions a good Iowahawk qoute: "You don't get to kill the institution, gut it, wear it like a skin suit, and then demand respect."

The outcome of a leftist (communist) takeover of the Federal government would be a difficult prediction to make. Look at the reaction of the upland South to British and Loyalist plans to suppress the independence movement in 1778-80, which led to the Battle of Kings Mountain that was a serious defeat for the British and caused them to withdraw from the Carolinas vs. the Whiskey Rebellion a few years later, where the Federal government led by President Washington invaded western Pennsylvania, like the southern Appalachians populated by the same mostly Scots-Irish people, and broke up the rebellion, imprisoning the leaders.

The difference was that Washington's invasion was supported by the elites of the Philadelphia area and those in the surrounding states of New Jersey, Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware. The Whiskey Rebellion rank and file had the option of immigrating to southern Appalachia to live with their Scots-Irish kinsmen.

Given the current state of the judicial system, we are very close to all hell breaking loose.

I think a Balkanization of the U.S. is inevitable. Looking at the state electoral maps and it somewhat skews the large differences in sentiment. But look at the county electoral maps and a much clearer picture of sentiment comes into focus.

I also don’t see how this separation would come about painlessly.

Democrat cities full of useless idiots, freeloading gimmegrants, and Muslims vs the producers in the rest of the counties. If it ever gets to shooting, and I believe it comes to that unfortunately, the democrat cities lose. Are there enough antifa foot soldiers to protect supply lines, run sewage treatment plants, protect electrical infrastructure? They can’t even stay off their drugs for a day. Can New Yuck City or San Fagsicko produce enough food to feed their angry imported golems? We all saw the CHOP zone in Seattle try to grow a few vegetables and how pathetic that was. Will trantifa homos risk their lives to smuggle gasoline, food, and tranny hormones in the city? Even if the military took the side of the democrats is there enough manpower to protect the supply lines feeding the military bases? Will imported Somali trash volunteer to fight to protect Minnidishu? Do they even have the IQ to produce a single drop of fresh water for themselves? Nope. Does the soy laden vegan know how to produce his factory produced vegan tofurkey while the conservative counties have millions of cows on the hoof to butcher? Does a city dwelling meat eating faggot in Austin even know where meat comes from? Will the PhD in gender studies from Yale outwit the Appalachian hunter when it comes to food, farming, or reloading ammo? Doubtful. Who will fight for them? Teens? Teens that can’t hit someone right in front of them with a Glock switch in full auto? Are the ‘teens’ going to reload their own ammo?

The democrats have no regions they control, no unity, no common cause, no industry, nothing..... They have isolated s hole cities and that’s it. they lose. The rednecks they despise win. Let them fire first (as if they could even figure out how to shoot a rifle), and let it be on me so my progeny don’t have to fight those evil commie bastards and their imported trash orcs.

American Leftists, aka Progressives, have ruled this nation for decades through overwhelming dominance of the media space. Their Media were the gatekeepers which determined how most national politicians were allowed to be elected.

Their dominance in the media could not stand the technological creation of partisan, fractured media. They no longer control the narrative. The checks and balances of the Constitution are regaining effectiveness. Without Media dominance, the American Leftists are losing control.

I think it unlikely they will gain the House and Senate in the mid-terms, and highly unlikely they will gain the presidency in 2028.

If the leftists take over in 2029, the easiest way to address it would be for every Red state to secede. Declare the Union dissolved & stop forwarding all monies to the federal gov’t.

At some later point it might be possible to re-unionize, but first with precautions against what we’re fighting now: Amendments/Rules on citizenship, voting & debt that stop the current nonsense.

I think so too. However. Even the deepest ‘blue’ state is controlled by a couple cities in a sea of ‘red’ counties. Example... New Yuck. Two cities control New Yuck state. What does Albany and New Yuck City produce to feed itself? NOTHING. A couple people can destroy everything feeding that city in a day. No more electricity, sewage, fuel, water, or food and they starve.
