To me, that is a characteristic of Leftism. Not the ones at the top, mind you. The brainless ones who buy into all the Leftism, lock, stock, and barrel.

The ones at the top know it is all BS. The problem with the brainless ones are that they think they will be “equal” to the ones at the top, everyone has equality and such.

But when they are dragged away to be thrown into a prison or lined up and shot by the very people they supported, they will be heard screaming:

“WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS? I’M ON YOUR SIDE! I FOUGHT FOR YOU!”

They all think they will be in the upper party, only to find out the hard truth that there is never room for everyone in the upper levels of a tyrannical ruling class.

Like a human Ponzi-scheme, there have to be a lot of useless idiots to make one party member. And useless idiots can be dangerous to party members, because they can easily become implacable foes if they wake up and see the light.

Kind of the way David Horowitz and Tuli Gabbard are cases in point.
