My husband is 1/4 Lebanese. Most of the family fled persecution as Maronite Catholics. His Grandpa came with many siblings, as a young adult. I believe their elderly mother stayed, fearing that she wouldn’t survive the trip.

Hubby is otherwise half German, and 1/4 Irish. A bit of stubborn in there, but with a nice mix of congeniality and steadiness.

I just asked Siri about these rings of Erika‘s. An answer came from distractify.com .
One ring contains the initial E and another the initial G. It is theorized that those are the initials of her and Charlie’s children.
Another ring appears to be one that used to be Charlie’s and and she had it resized to fit her. There are apparently pictures of Charlie having worn it first.

So, not my style, but nothing particularly sinful going on, IMHO.
