Lawrence Reed, 50, was out on pre-trial release for allegedly knocking a psychiatric ward social worker unconscious in August .... Before he was released, he had been before Cook County Judge Theresa Molina Gonzales. The Cook County State’s Attorney’s office warned Judge Theresa Molina-Gonzales to keep him locked up or he would likely hurt others.
Judge Theresa Molina Gonzales refused. She had him released from jail and put on electronic monitoring. And she said something that comes out of the progressive hall of fame:
“I can’t keep everybody in jail because the State’s Attorney wants me to.”***
… Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle is to blame for this. ...
She’s the boss, the picker of judges who emptied out the Cook County Jail and bragged about how she saved money via “decarceration,” as the jail population was shrunk and madmen like Lawrence Reed were allowed out to attack the most vulnerable.

Why? They did exactly as the people of Chicongo demanded. Instead, we should build a wall around Chicongo and let them kill each other off. At least that way, we spare the innocent.

Another white person a victim of a black person. Black on white crime is 6.4 times more likely than White on Black crime (Claude). Rates are even worse if you correct for population differences. That’s not racist...it’s the facts.
When this story first came they buried that the victim was white. Today is the first I heard.

Someday we’ll make it against the law for criminals to ride any public transportation for a month after their first arrest and for five years after the third offense.

Here is something I probably missed.
How did this man pay at a station and go up to a gas nozzle without a car or truck and fill his plastic bottle?
Isn’t there a sign at gas stations about safe containers?
Even if someone says they ran out of gas they can’t fill a dill pickle jar and a Smucker’s jelly jar.
Supposedly a static charge could set off some containers so OSHA issues a warning on the plastic gallon cans people buy at the station when the car is out of gas somewhere.
Is there an exception for a vicious, sadistic violent man on the way to burn a woman alive? “Just go ahead, sir.”
