Toyota Chairman Akio Toyoda spotted in full Trump gear at NASCAR event in Japan. Dude knows how to court American MAGA car buyers.

Prius owners in shock
Now if Toyota will just quit building cars in Mexico
They build cars in the US as well. Lots of them. At one point, maybe still true, the Camry was the most American car you could buy.
My bad, I should have specifically said trucks.
CEO knnows his stuff.
My wife’s Avalon was built in Kentucky. The big three stopped making large non-luxury sedans. I don’t regret going to Toyota if I can’t get a rwd Caprice, rown Vic or Roadmaster.
Good to know - works for me. Welcome to MAGA Akio Toyoda...
In 2015 we opted against the Avalon primarily because it was FWD......to get something RWD in that price range we ended up with a German import.
My daughter’s Corrola Cross was made in northern Alabama.
Note to Toyota: Bring back the Scion xB, first gen.
We buy the box, not the brand.
If you still made those, we’d still be buying Toyota.
Even Toyota hates you Dims.
I love my 4Runner even more now.
Most Toyota trucks are made in San Antonio Texas.
Did the factory tour near Princeton, IN. I remember they made the Sienna mini-van there and some others. Only remember Sienna because we had one at the time. I think Toyota makes the Tundra in Alabama. Their factories seem to be mostly in MAGA country.
They killed a brand because they didn’t like who the customers were.
I love MBAs.
BTW, I wasn’t a geezer when we bought that car.
But I cared for a number of them.
It was easy for my elderly loved ones to step in and out of, could tote their gear (and they came with plenty), and it was fuel efficient which was important because I spent a lot of time in the car going between locations.
Then there was me. I have a 34” inseam. I like head and legroom and that thing had plenty. My even taller male relations could sit comfortably in that car.
But heaven forbid they sell to anyone other than kiddos.
So I’ll keep buying a well made box. We’ve owned four different makes and models so far. I don’t mind switching.
I’m box loyal, not brand loyal.
At the time the BMW 3 series was priced around the same as the Avalon.
We probably gave up a few options the Avalon had but for me it was an acceptable trade off for RWD.
I hear a lot of knocks on BMWs but in 10 years ours hasn’t given us one moment of trouble.
If I had to complain about anything it’s that it’s black.....which at the end of the day is on me.
Black is IMO the sharpest of any vehicle color when it’s clean......5 minutes later however.......
