Epstein slop has now apparently reached the outermost limits of absurdity with Monday's New Yorker entirely incapable finding anything actually incriminating about President Donald Trump in the latest release of the Jeffrey Epstein documents. So what to do? What to do? Well, New Yorker editor Jessica Winter seems to have drawn the short stick to "earn" this assignment and completely embarrassed herself with a theory about "negative space" in "The Darkest Thread in the Epstein E-mails."
The subtitle reflects the fact that Winter found absolutely no there there since the worst allegation tossed Trump's way is something called "negative space": Donald Trump occupies a kind of negative space in the available files, which run an enervating gamut from the inane to the depraved.
Spoiler alert: Nothing really negative about Trump was found so Winters dreamed up something called "negative space" to gloss over that sad fact. In fact, her "negative space" is reminiscent of "dark energy" which is defined as a mysterious force in the universe whose exact nature is unknown and whose very existence can only be inferred.

Allow me to help. "Trump Occupies 'Negative Space' in Epstein Files" = Trump was against it and him.
Ah yes negative space. I think that envelops the Orange Man Bad planet.
The New Yorker hardest hit
Just like Russia, Russia, Russia...there’s nothing there. A typical Dem time waster.
He's talking about his involvement with the Epstein crimes.
It's a hoax.
Of course Trump’s enemies will just say they scrubbed all mentions of Trump in the files.
This didn’t go in the direction I thought it was headed: That the absence of smoking gun evidence against Trump means that Trump’s minions have “vacuumed the files”.

The bottom line is that they had four years of Biden in the White House to release all this, if Trump was in the files.
Reminds me of President Trump’s tax returns being released to congress. Nothing there.

Agreed. Even if it badly damaged dims or rich libs they would quickly toss them under the bus if there was the slightest chance to derail Trump.
So while there may be troublesome content for various conservatives I’m getting the vibe that lib to conservative ratio of damage leans HEAVILY against libs. Just the amount trickling out now is looking pretty bad. Congress chick Plasket was actually texting with Epstein and was being coached by him DURING a hearing about Trump.
That’s pretty significant for just an initial trickle.
Good analogy/point.
In the end, both sides will believe what they want to believe and the needle won’t move at all.
If Trump was found guilty in those files of anything illegal they would have been released years ago
The expectations on this whole story have been a little absurd. The disappointment of not finding a smoking gun of sex crimes with minors has given way to anger and disbelief. But, there were plenty of warnings.
