I’m sure Flynn was aware of the same things that Sidney Powell and Rudy Guiliani were aware of. The Kraken is real; the only problem was they spoke publicly about it before they had the slam-dunk evidence that they now have. Specifically about 20 engineers who were ordered by the Venezuelan government to create the Smartmatic software designed to steal elections - the referendum on Hugo Chavez being the first and then on to the democratic primary so that Obama won over Hillary in Chicago. It was a well-defined conspiracy between China, Venezuela, Cuba, Russia, and SErbia (where the servers were used to change the outcome of elections - and were even ATTEMPTED to steal the 2024 election as well but their ability to do it was blocked).

The DOJ has the evidence and is now conducting their own interviews of the witnesses. When that is complete this will all come out. I believe that DOGE may have been put on a back burner because when the info of democrats’ material aid and comfort in a foreign-communist-state conspiracy to overthrow the legitimate US government through the Dominion software (which is the Smartmatic software that switched hands through several buyouts in the elections software industry) there will be a change of power in the legislative branch that will enable serious draining of the swamp.

Whether we admit it or not, Venezuela has been at literal war with us for some time. And now our military is telling them what Trump thinks of that. Flynn knew about this all along. When the truth comes out your opinion of Flynn will need to adjust.

At the time, Flynn (and others) believed that the 2020 election steal was orchestrated and paid for in large part by foreign governments. If so, that would make the election steal a treasonous conspiracy of the highest order and potentially a sound basis for martial law.

The claim of foreign based election subversion in 2020 may be true, but proof is not in hand, and it remains to be seen if it ever will be. Yet if the claim is proved, Flynn will be vindicated.

Moreover, Flynn was targeted in 2017 and prosecuted because he had the loyalty, intelligence community connections, and understanding to protect Trump from Deep State manipulations and plots. Ousting Flynn as National Security Adviser was a key part of the opening act of the effort to hamstring Trump in his first term and prevent his reelection by any means.

Not a single state had asked that its slate of electors be withdrawn due to election malfeasance, and not a single court had upheld any of their claims. Calling on the military to take over under those circumstances was borderline treason.

I do know that Trump tweeted out in the spring/summer before the election something to the effect that Flynn should "stay ready" if Trump won, but never saw anything reported anywhere afterwards that any position had been offered.

I assume that Trump reconsidered, which sounds to me like something Susan Wiles would have urged.

I am confident that proof will eventually be forthcoming that in several key counties and swing states the 2020 election was grossly corrupted through ballot stuffing and machine manipulation of the election night count.

Election contests to impeach and overturn the election night count have a short time frame and are a weak remedy at best against carefully planned misconduct. In addition, the nature of the fraud in 2020 and its success indicates centralized direction and financing, almost certainly with foreign involvement.

Does that seem impossible? Not at all. Recall that for decades, the Mafia lived well off the skim in Las Vegas in spite of it being a more or less open secret. It took years of determined federal investigation and prosecution to get the proof and rack up convictions that ended the casino skim.

Similarly, every year, in spite of laws and federal investigations, many billions of dollars in drug trade proceeds are laundered through the US financial system, usually with the help of lawyers and bankers.

There are also repeated blowups of financial fraud and other misconduct where the authorities are complacent or complicit. Enron, Madoff, Epstein, and others show that crimes on a large scale can be committed for years before the government acts.

Is it so hard to think that shady Democratic lawyers, election officials, judges, and political operatives could steal the 2020 election? And if it happened as I believe it did, one can understand why Flynn was muttering treason and talking of martial law in order to seize the evidence for proper judicial and Congressional review.

Flynn was wrong as a matter of judgment, but I am not so sure that he was wrong in principle.

Perhaps. But if he is holding an office of trust in the U.S. government, good principles but (horrendously) bad judgement is disqualifying.

However, I think favoring martial law (whether he called for it publicly or not) is indicative of bad principles as well.

My understanding is that Flynn offered martial law as a way to seize evidence of election rigging in 2020. I am not so sure that he was a full on advocate of it, but if he was, it was an error of judgment. Martial law for any reason would have been a crossing of the Rubicon in constitutional terms even if it was justified.

As it was, Biden as President was so bad that he created the conditions for Trump's glorious return to office via election in 2024. And if things continue to go well, Trump II may end up in the collapse the modern Democratic party -- and I hope proof that the 2020 election was stolen.

Plausibly, the emerging Trump GOP coalition will draw in enough Kennedy-Fetterman constituents to keep the Democrats from getting the Presidency or a Congressional majority again for decades. In effect, the new political party will be the GOP as a populist, national greatness party in opposition to a globalist, Leftist Democratic party based on the support of wealthy, liberal, mostly coastal and big city urban elites. Remarkably, such a GOP may even get substantial Jewish and Black support.
