I think that would be the Ford Foundation, not FoMoCo. The foundation was started by old man Ford and Edsel. Not connected in any way to Ford Motor Company. The Rockefeller Foundation the same.

Bill Gates is going to dismantle his foundation by 2045. Obviously, he does not want to lose control of his foundation whether it skews left or right. So it's a good thing that he recognizes that.
