Leaked Russian defense industry documents reveal an ambitious 10-year plan to rebuild Moscow’s tank fleet, aiming to produce over 2,600 new and modernized tanks between 2026 and 2036. This challenges previous, lower Western estimates of Russia’s industrial capacity. The plan prioritizes mass production of the T-90M, including a new T-90M2 variant, and the extensive modernization of older T-72s.

I think, because I looked behind a number of "curtains," that it and its sister site are multi-million dollar enterprises all about seeking ad bucks from certain interested parties, publishing plenty of talking heads about "national security," and that Joe Biden's picture -- not President Trump's -- decorates their "About us" page.

You tell me your view as to that, please?
Gotta be labor intensive-not to mention the bigger tow-trucks.
Looking about a bit, MemorySteel is a small team from Ukraine. We make keychains from the metal of destroyed russian tanks.
It's an interesting site, because it is not Ukrainian in the sense of registrar or hosting. It was created 19 April 2023, through Tucows, and privacy protected in Canada. Purchases are run through "shop.app" which is a Shopify, Inc. site also in Canada. Seems quite like a Canadian enterprise, in effect. [ "If you live in the United States or Canada, you are contracting with Shopify Inc., a Canadian corporation, with offices located at 151 O'Connor Street, Ground floor, Ottawa, Ontario, K2P 2L8." ]
Given that there are ICANN registrars and hosting companies in Ukraine, it is interesting how much "Canada" there is to it.
Right, which is why the contact is a Ukrainian name, address and phone number. Very "Canadian".

like everyone else building thousands of tanks: fighting the last war ...
I have no beef with them selling advertising, which beats government grants or vested interest group financing. They do not claim to be conservative, so a picture of ex-president Biden isn’t exactly a crime.
From the articles I’ve read, I find them informative. Read them and then think for yourself, like virtually every publication out there nowadays.
Yeah right, with WHAT? With WHO?
Did you look at the address? Lots of info online about the apartment house complex, including short term rentals. Have a look.
Apartment in Complex Korona on Knyazhyi Zaton 21 | Apartment in KyivAs to "Canadian," the website, the registrar, the privacy company and the ordering/shipping are all in Canada. The webhosting nameservers are in Mountain View, California. And the VAT is missing a digit, and a such cannot be verified. Other than that....
No, it's not a "crime." It is, however, an indication of their stance on things political.
I think you are overreaching. That's my stance, lol.
No use building anti-tank munitions if there are no tanks. ;-D
On this thread, the OP was commented "to" and did not respond to any, as of the moment. 31 comments, and zero Freepers responded to. As you've been in the forum since 2009, making me a relative newbie, I'll leave up to you to explain why further donations to a FR forum featuring "blog flogging," and zero further engagement with those participating, is reasonable. Perhaps, "lol," it's time for the blog floggers to pay the freight?
If you don't like certain threads or posters, feel free to ignore them. If you don't like FR rules of engagement, don't participate.
And thanks for the reminder to kick in my Sept. contribution. I'm off to take care of that.
Duly noted that your donation for the quarter is visible. Now if "whyilovetexas111" shows in the donor list, I'd be pleased. Think he/she will? Given his/her lack of responding to those who have commented specifically to "whyilovetexas111" and received no response suggests that blog flogging is an issue, and engagement with other Freepers is not a part of the blog flogging.
