This article clearly subscribes to my law of politics that says that if a mainstream media outlet is talking ill about a democrat, it's because higher level dems want that person gone.

A dem can get caught engaging in human smuggling -- or having dementia -- and the media would say nothing or downplay it as a conspiracy theory or nuanced or whatever ... unless the dems decided he had to go. Then, and only then, do the hit pieces start.
