Carlson was comparing Sharia law in Qatar, which if far more mild than in Iran or the more extreme Islamic regimes, to the soft-on-crime laws and DAs in big left-wing cities. Yes, compared to that, Qatar looks very good.
Sharia law in Qatar isn't much more severe than laws in the original states in this country.

Islam is a war plan
To me a very simple logic test should make any non-religious person make this comparison between Islam and Christianity.
The later comes from a figure (Christ) who refused to allow his followers to take up arms to protect Him. The former was led by a man who deliberately told his follows to make war against those who would not follow him.
The non-religious person should have no problem choosing Christianity over Islam - a religion that says to love and forgive your enemy, versus a religion that repeatedly says to destroy nonbelievers.
