For my job I sometimes pull a trailer that has to follow all the DOT regulations. I’m paranoid about weigh stations and logging. I’m sure I’m doing stuff wrong because as an occasional driver it’s very complex.
Yet these idiots get away with bogus licenses, illegals, can’t even speak the language.
I’d love it if DOT cops announced that they were concentrating only on clearing the roads of these scum.
This has been going on forever. Who do you think is hauling out of the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach?
I went to trucking school for 3 months and then had my balls busted for 4 months by a trainer before the company turned me loose on my own. I cant imagine anyone doing any less.

sorry Trump, you’ve got to do better; you’ve got to get the GOPe to fall in line and stop this. this kind of state/multinational blatant corruption and theft of our working class/middle class jobs cannot stand any longer.
That’s exactly the dept that can handle this. USDOT with it’s weight stations. Add another employee to quickly check licenses. It would slow things down compared to weigh stations that a truck can drive through at 20 mph or whatever the speed is. Maybe stick with lower volume weigh stations so it doesn’t cause trucks to get backed up on the interstate.
