For my job I sometimes pull a trailer that has to follow all the DOT regulations. I’m paranoid about weigh stations and logging. I’m sure I’m doing stuff wrong because as an occasional driver it’s very complex.

Yet these idiots get away with bogus licenses, illegals, can’t even speak the language.

I’d love it if DOT cops announced that they were concentrating only on clearing the roads of these scum.

That’s exactly the dept that can handle this. USDOT with it’s weight stations. Add another employee to quickly check licenses. It would slow things down compared to weigh stations that a truck can drive through at 20 mph or whatever the speed is. Maybe stick with lower volume weigh stations so it doesn’t cause trucks to get backed up on the interstate.
