Bill Maher, an American comedian, political commentator, and television host known for his sharp, often controversial critiques of religion, politics, and culture, used his HBO talk show Real Time with Bill Maher on Friday (Sept. 26) to spotlight ongoing violence against Christians in Nigeria.
Maher has hosted the long-running show since 2003, featuring unscripted debates with guests from across the political spectrum. During a panel discussion, U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, a Republican from South Carolina, thanked Maher for raising the issue and said the media has failed to cover the tragedy.
“Nigeria, the fact that this issue has not gotten on people’s radar, it’s pretty amazing,” Maher said. “If you don’t know what’s going on in Nigeria, your media sources suck. You are in a bubble.”
“I’m not a Christian, but they are systematically killing the Christians in Nigeria. They’ve killed over a hundred thousand since 2009. They’ve burned 18,000 churches. These are the Islamists, Boko Haram,” he said. “This is so much more of a genocide attempt than what is going on in Gaza. They are literally attempting to wipe out the Christian population of an entire country.”
“Where are the kids protesting this?” he asked, criticizing the lack of mainstream media coverage and noting the absence of public outcry in the United States.

There's a new toxic brand of faux conservatives trying to muscle their way into the GOP and among traditional conservatives. They are mainly gen Z men influenced by this Fuentes guy. If you peel the layers they have more in common with the left than the right but on the surface they wear the "America First" label.

In defense of American youth, those stinkin' African Christians don't support genderfluidity.
It's not that hard to figure out.
The teachers in the colleges and high schools are educated by professors that are paid by Saudi Arabians who have no sympathy with Christians and is probably funding Boko Haram.
Most of the protestors on college campuses and elsewhere are paid by The Tides Foundation (and its affiliates).
This George Soros funded organization could not care less about Christians.

It is extremely sad what is happening to Nigerian Christians. Total genocide, hundreds killed periodically, villages wiped out, women and children taken and abused, and over time the death toll has grown to the 100,000 you now see.
But total silence.
What Christians have gone through in places like Nigeria and Syria made me think really hard last week, especially with all that false talk of ‘the Rapture’ that will come and save Christians from the Tribulation.
Maybe people have it all wrong.
Maybe the Tribulation already came. I am sure a Christian living in the northern part of Nigeria 100% is going through that. Or anyone caught with a Bible in North Korea. Or the few who have underground worship sessions in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia has no official churches), or the few brave Christians that remained in Syria and Iraq during the rise of ISIS and were often burned alive, or the Coptic Christians who traditionally tattooed a cross on their wrist so that they could never deny Christ even if they wanted to.
Maybe the Tribulation already came, or even worse, if the Rapture was real, I somehow suspect it would be those people in such places who get taken away and not some pot-bellied Christian-in-name-only living in Manitoba, Canada, who thinks a bad day is when the traffic light stay red longer than usual when he’s driving home from a rendezvous with his mistress. I exaggerate, obviously, but if the Rapture is real then there are a LOT of people who will be mightily surprised.
Back to main message, it is heartbreaking what happens to those men, women, and children over there. Who risk it all for the sake of Christ. May the Lord be with them.
