It’s like catch and release nothing more. Publicity stunt. Perhaps a 72c hour hold would make them think twice before pushing that envelope.

The key is where you put them during the temporary hold.

If the rats and cockroaches have free run of their cells it may get their attention.

None of those skunks and skanks look like they work for a living and pay taxes. Professional protesters more than likely paid “under the table”.

Now if they were just shanked by one of their precious criminals that they go to extraordinary lengths to protect from the law it might put a crack in their delusional worldview. On second thought no it wouldn’t. Democrats are totally wedded to a universe that bears no relationship to reality. That why Charlie Kirk was brutally murdered. He threatened their fantasy world with reason, logic and facts that were hard to ignore.

Maybe the ICE should require $100,000 bonds of political visitors.

To probate my mother’s estate, my brother and I had to get a $100,000 bond.

That little crowd of professional protesters in Chicago really needs to spread out a little more. Their show isn’t very impressive.

It’s NY, I suspect they receive a lot of tax revenue each year.

“They need to be locked up with a bunch of their beloved illegal alien invaders”

I don’t see why that couldn’t happen. Put them in holding while a ICE loads it up with detainees and let them all hang out until Monday when they can go before a judge.

How stupid for a Mandami to say detainees have “Limited access to food and water”. Hey...dumbass! They are in jail, not a restaurant. Of course they have limited access to food and water. They also have limited access to subways, movie theaters, and baseball games. That’s kinda the idea of being in jail.

https://abcnews.go.com/US/new-york-officials-arrested-protest-manhattan-ice-office/story?id=125721380
In a statement, DHS confirmed that a total of 71 people were arrested during the protest Thursday, including Lander, two New York state senators and nine New York State Assembly members.

New York ABC station WABC reported Lander and the other elected officials who were arrested would be given police summonses and then be released.

Following the arrests Thursday, the building was later placed on a lockdown because of a bomb threat, DHS said.

New York?

Bragg has most likely already dropped all charges.
