The lies make the biggest impact when first told. The intended audience is totally incapable of critical thinking and accepts the lie as fact. The media will only amplify the lie without scrutiny.

When the lie is proven to be a lie, the audience will dismiss the truth because they trust the source of the lie.

At first, many assumed Robinson had been radicalized in college, WHICH IS A COMMON THING. Then - based on statements by his roommate and family - they realized that his radicalization began while he was in high school. There has been NO evidence that he hated Kirk because Kirk wasn't liberal enough. He hated Kirk for his conservatism, particularly on LGBTQ+ issues.

This is why we all need to be Charlie Kirk. Get out into public spaces or non-conservative online forums and speak up 10X. Gather facts, source them, and hammer them home against the nonsense and lies. Point out how nonsensical the lies are and how foolish it is to believe them. Keep opening eyes.
