The Lynnwood Times has received a report of local Kamiak High School staff members and a teacher allegedly pleased with the assassination of Charlie Kirk. If you are a student, educator, parent, or witness to any school staff, teachers or administrators condoning political violence, contact us directly at 425-931-1374.
We will be following up with the Mukilteo School District on this matter. Below is the snapshot sent to us by a concerned resident and parent listed the following Kamiak High School staff liking the post:
Reese Casson - Kamiak High School Office Assistant Simone Buell - Kamiak High School Office Assistant Sonja Sackett - Kamiak High School Paraeducator Library Melissa Storr - Kamiak High School Secondary Teacher
The post allegedly by Reese Casson states, "My moral compass overrides my empathy now." She then liked a comment to her post that reads, "My empathy is my moral compass. I’m happy the mfer is gone. But this is not the way. It’s a fuse to what the Tangerine Palpatine really wants." The concerned parent posted (which is now deleted by Casson he alleges) to Casson's post, "Why does your moral compass override your empathy for Charlie Kirk, Reese Casson?" He when included a picture of a picture of Kirk after the shooting incident.
The concerned parent told the Lynnwood Times that he is concerned that posts of this nature disqualify someone to be around impressionable students, especially when it involves political assassinations and political violence. In addition to a possible Code of Conduct violation, the parent wants the school to investigate the matter to determine if the staff members facilitate a hostile political environment for students.
Governor Bob Ferguson along with local elected officials have publicly condemned the murder of Kirk and have condemned political violence.
Teachers condoning a school shooting.
Society must condemn this lack of empathy, to isolate these psychopaths that cannot be trusted to conduct themselves properly.
Kamiak school is in Washington State. Do they condone school violence there, if it is the right kind of approved violence?
Lynnwood is about ten minutes north of where I live. Probably a lot of people here in the Seattlegrad area agree with the teacher.
Kamiak is not in Lynnwood, it is in Mukelteo
right next to the Everett Boeing plant
The average house is about $1m the cops drive black Teslas with dark grey police markings looking for people speeding up the Mukelteo speedway.
It is a very Blue area
Maybe every teacher should be polygraphed and asked what their opinion on the shooting is? One way to weed out the communists in our schools before more shootings.
I would hope that the School District would turn this into a public “learning moment” about both free speech, about why some are trying to implement “hate speech” laws and about how to conduct a civil discussion about partisan positions. I would also hope that the School District would toss in a big dose of how valuable all life is and how promoting violence, especially lethal violence that happens at a school (even if it is a community college) is beyond reprehensible. The lesson should be shared at joint meetings with staff/students/parents all together with a clear indication from the School District that what happened (both the assassination and the comments praising the killing) are totally unacceptable in any civilized society.
