A witness interviewed in the aftermath of the Charlie Kirk assassination said he believed it was a carefully orchestrated multi-person operation.
In another video from Wednesday, a student reportedly spotted someone on a roof of another Utah Valley University campus building amid the event.
The man told reporters he had just finished speaking with Kirk when he overheard the person next in line at the Utah Valley University event mention wanting to ask about transgenderism, however, when they took the podium they asked about shootings instead.
“After I got done talking to him I really couldn’t exit because there was such a big crowd and so I turned around and about 10-20 seconds later after I got done talking to Charlie I saw that he was shot in the neck and just squirting blood everywhere. But I was piecing things together and it was really weird because the second guest I talked to before I went and asked him the question…he was talking to him about how he was gonna ask about transgenderism or something like that, but…nothing about shootings,” the man described.
“And this is the irony that came to me, which was like right when he asked that not like five, ten seconds later he was shot – and not only that, right after that someone confessed to it who had no weapon, which makes me think that it was clearly a setup and that multiple people were involved.”
Police took a man into custody, who was later determined not to be the suspect – but the man was clearly acting suspicious, telling police, “I have the right to remain silent,” as they detained him, and telling people, “Shoot me, shoot me,” as police hauled him away.

Another witness said the shooting looked like a professional hit job, adding, “I don’t think it was [him], he was poor, broke, maybe on medication. Maybe a little bit loony boon. Maybe a perfect person to pick and say they did it, but I don’t think he did it at all…”

I’d say this tracks. And I said the same of Butler as well. This can’t possibly be the ideation of a single individual. Wouldn’t surprise me if there were multiple involved, and it also wouldn’t surprise me to find deep state or foreign actors involved in the fringes as well.

There’s a video, close up, of a guy in the crowd that starts celebrating immediately after the shot, while everyone else cowers. He turns around, with glee on his face, looking up at the building behind them and pumps his cheering arms in that direction.
It was almost as though the camera holder was taking video of the guy celebrating, as though they both knew it was coming, and from where.
