NEVER FORGET
Help us fulfill our collective promise to never forget: get involved throughout the year or plan your own 9/11 observance.
OBSERVE MOMENTS OF SILENCE WITH US
Every year as part of the official commemoration ceremony held at the World Trade Center for victims' families, we observe six moments of silence marking the key events of 9/11.
• 8:46 a.m.: Hijackers deliberately crashed American Airlines Flight 11 into floors 93 through 99 of the North Tower.
• 9:03 a.m.: Hijackers deliberately crashed United Airlines Flight 175 into floors 77 through 85 of the South Tower.
• 9:37 a.m.: Hijackers deliberately crashed American Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon, near Washington, D.C.
• 9:59 a.m.: The South Tower collapsed.
• 10:03 a.m.: After learning of the other attacks, passengers on United Airlines Flight 93 launched a counterattack on hijackers aboard their plane to try to seize control of the aircraft. In response, the hijackers crashed the plane into an empty field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
• 10:28 a.m.: The North Tower collapsed, leaving the 16-acre World Trade Center site in ruins and collateral damage affecting all adjacent properties and streets. The rescue effort commenced immediately. . .

"Last week, The Post revealed salaries at the non-profit have ballooned, even as it continues to run in the red and ignore the wishes of some families of first responders murdered on 9/11.Remember the attacks of 9-11. Remember also that most of them were Saudis. And remember that bureaucrats connected to the museum REALLY want your money.Hillman pocketed $856,216 in total compensation in 2024, according to IRS filings, a 63% raise in just two years.
The next four highest-paid executives made $486,298, $458,652, $444,999 and $432,958 in 2024.
CEO of 9/11 Memorial & Museum defends bloated salaries amid growing outrage NY Post, 30 August 2025
Background: The New York Post previously reported that the 9/11 memorial museum gave $1,000 bonuses to its 12 top-paid executives in 2020, even though the nonprofit lost $47 million that year and had to lay off or furlough 60% of its staff.
Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is chairman of the nonprofit's board. Other trustees include celebrities such as Robert DeNiro, Billy Crystal and Jon Stewart.
Critical quote: Jim McCaffrey, a retired New York firefighter who lost his brother-in-law on 9/11, asked the New York Post, “How can you justify these salaries? It's just another slap in the face of the families, more pain and grief to add to the heartache.”
Summary: There are countless ways to honor the memory of 9/11 victims that would be an excellent use of taxpayer funds. Paying high salaries to a group of executives is not one of them.

The only way to remember it is to rebuild it the way it was. Make the Saudi’s pay for it.
100+ stories. Put the UN there. Add a homeless shelter and jail. Twin Towers Alcatraz.
Still think that would have been the best Memorial ...
Keep your head on a swivel & carry conceal.

Appreciate your thoughts
I wrote a tribute song to the responders way back when called “That Dark” . The title is a reference to something a firefighter said in an interview decades before the attack ie, that when they go in they can’t see anything much less each other. Stuck with me for some reason. The song link below. With all this time since the attack for perspective the song/video seems a bit too intense. I don’t know, maybe I’m just getting old.

May I share with others off F.R.?
If Charlie Kirk doesn’t survive today’s assassination attempt, Sep. 10 will be another day of infamy.
Yeah that’s a one man demo. It had to be rushed because the tower I was working with hated the multi track sound card. Do what you want with the video. Way back when I sent the CD and lyric sheet to the various first responder unions granting them all rights to the material. Never heard back.
Ban islam.
